On September 30…

On September 30, 1955 James Dean died as a result of a car accident on Route 466 (now CA 46) toward Paso Robles. He is best remembered as a pop culture icon for young rebellion, and his experimental nature on life. Arguably his best remembered movie is 1955’s “Rebel Without A Cause,”  and the saying, “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” He was 24 when he died.
