On October 31, 1975 Queen released “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The song is noted for not having a chorus, but instead being comprised of various musical sections: hard rock, ballad, opera, and a guitar solo. It was featured in Queen’s 1975 album, “A Night at the Opera,” and was written by Freddie Mercury.
The song was extremely successful during its time of release, selling over a million copies.
