Monroe is arguably one of the biggest sex symbols ever (if not, the biggest), who gained fame during the 1950s and 1960s, which was often labeled Hollywood’s “Golden Era.” She was often known for her soft voice, curvy body, and bouncy blonde hair. Some of her most notable films include 1953’s “Gentleman Prefer Blondes,” 1955’s “The Seven Year Itch,” 1959’s “Some Like It Hot,” and 1961’s “The Misfits.”

During her final years, Monroe’s life was marked by controversy. She was found dead by her psychiatrist, Dr. Ralph Greenson in her home at her Brentwood, California. Her death has been the debate of many conspiracy theories. Her death has been labeled as an overdose of barbiturates, and classified as a suicide. Many of the theories surrounding her death include murder, specifically involving the CIA and the Mafia, as well as theories involving John and Robert Kennedy.
