The series, created by Garry Marshall and starred Ron Howard and Henry Winkler, lasted 11 seasons, and took place in the mid-1950s to mid-1960s. The sitcom starred Richie Cunningham (Howard) and his family, living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as well as Arthur “Fonzie/The Fonz” Fonzarelli (Winkler), as they navigate life as young adults. Since its inception, the show has become a pop culture stable, specifically with the fashion depicted, notably Winkler’s attire. In addition, the show spawned the hit shows “Mork & Mindy” and “Laverne & Shirley.”
