Having moved to Nashville, Tennessee at a young age, Swift became the youngest songwriter ever to be hired by Sony/ATV Music Publishing. With the release of her 2006 self-titled debut album, Swift solidified herself as a country star, topping the Hot Country Songs Chart with the single “Our Song,” and earning a 2008 Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist. It wasn’t until her second album, “Fearless,” did Swift amass international acclaim, thanks in part to the hit singles “Love Story” and “You Belong With Me.” The album won four Grammy Awards, including Album of The Year, making Swift the youngest artist ever to win the award.

Her follow-up albums, 2010’s “Speak Now” and 2012’s “Red,” earned her two additional Grammy Awards, with the latter achieving first week sales of over one million copies. Her 2014 album, “1989,” spawned two number-one singles, “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space,” as well as achieving first week sales over over one million copies — making Swift the only artist in history to have three albums that have attained such a feat.
