On October 18, 1991 Tyler Posey was born.
The actor-musician first gained stardom by appearing alongside Jennifer Lopez in 2002’s “Maid in Manhattan,” playing her son. Throughout the years he appeared in guest spots on shows such as “Brothers and Sisters” and “Smallville,” and in 2011 he landed the role of Scott McCall on MTV’s hit show “Teen Wolf,” which is currently in production for its fifth season.
The scripted comedy-drama-horror show is based on the 1985 movie of the same name, and created by Jeff Davis, the mastermind behind CBS’ hit, “Criminal Minds.” “Teen Wolf” is often considered MTV’s number-one scripted show, with Posey playing Scott McCall, the protagonist, a socially awkward teenage boy who is bitten by a werewolf, and learns to handle the responsibilities that accompany “The Bite.”
