On July 10, 1965 The Rolling Stones topped the music charts with “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.”

 

The song, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, was the first number-one hit for The Rolling Stones in the US, maintaining the number-one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for four consecutive weeks.
