On September 2 Terry Bradshaw was born…

On September 2, 1948 Terry Bradshaw was born. The former NFL quarterback is best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, for which he played 14 seasons with. Throughout his NFL career he won four Super Bowl titles, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to do so, as well as being a two-time Super Bowl MVP. Furthermore, throughout his career, he has passed close to 28,000 yards.


In addition to his sports career, Bradshaw has ventured into acting. with appearances on “Married…with Children,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” as well as in the film, “Failure to Launch,” alongside Kathy Bates, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Matthew McConaughey. Since 1994, he can be seen as a NFL analyst and co-host on Fox NFL Sunday.

Random Pop Culture Fact: On October 11, 2001, Terry Bradshaw received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The first, and only, NFL player to do so.
